Polestar verkoopt 18.049 wagens in Q2, een groei van 38% ten opzichte van vorig jaar

GÖTEBORG, ZWEDEN – 10 juli 2025 – Polestar (Nasdaq: PSNY) verkocht naar schatting 18.049 auto’s in het tweede kwartaal van 2025, wat neerkomt op een stijging van 38% ten opzichte van hetzelfde kwartaal vorig jaar. Over de eerste zes maanden van het jaar bedroeg het aantal verkochte auto’s ongeveer 30.319, een groei van 51% vergeleken met de eerste helft van 2024.

Polestar verstevigt zijn marktpositie in België met solide groei in Q2
In het tweede kwartaal van 2025 blijft Polestar zijn indrukwekkende groei in België voortzetten (+41,53%), met een stijging die zowel de groei van de algemene BEV-markt (+19,52%) als het premium BEV-segment (+0,49%) overtreft (YTD ten opzichte van het vorige jaar). Het merk blijft zijn ambitieuze doelstellingen waarmaken en is inmiddels de tweede snelst groeiende speler binnen de totale premium markt in België, gemeten in absolute registraties. De Polestar 4 heeft zich in korte tijd stevig gepositioneerd binnen het premium D-SUV-segment als het snelst groeiende model in zijn categorie.
De sterke groei van Polestar is het resultaat van strategische initiatieven, waaronder de uitbreiding van het retailnetwerk en het modelaanbod, die in lijn zijn met de wereldwijde strategie van het merk. Zo opende Polestar in 2025 al drie nieuwe Polestar Spaces, in Kortrijk, Brussel-Zuid en Antwerpen, met verdere uitbreiding gepland voor de tweede helft van het jaar. Ook het modelaanbod wordt verder uitgebreid. Vanaf eind juli is de Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor, met een indrukwekkend rijbereik van 706 km (WLTP), beschikbaar voor testritten op de Belgische markt. Deze ruime premium SUV biedt klanten nog meer keuze en maakt de overstap naar elektrisch rijden dankzij het uitgebreide rijbereik een stuk eenvoudiger.
