Polestar realiseert 36% groei in retailverkopen in de eerste negen maanden van 2025

GÖTEBORG, ZWEDEN – 9 oktober 2025 – Polestar (Nasdaq: PSNY) verkocht naar schatting 14.192 auto’s in het derde kwartaal van 2025, wat neerkomt op een stijging van 13% ten opzichte van hetzelfde kwartaal vorig jaar. Over de eerste negen maanden van het jaar bedroeg het aantal verkochte auto’s ongeveer 44.482, een groei van 36% vergeleken met dezelfde periode in 2024.
Michael Lohscheller, CEO van Polestar, zegt: “Ook in het derde kwartaal zagen we onze groei verder aanhouden, en inmiddels hebben we evenveel auto’s verkocht als in heel 2024. Ondanks aanhoudende externe uitdagingen en moeilijke marktomstandigheden bieden onze model line-up en sterke orderintake een solide basis voor verdere groei in het vierde kwartaal.”

Ook in het derde kwartaal van 2025 blijft Polestar zijn sterke groei in België voortzetten. Year-to-date groeide het merk met 28,25%, en overtreft daarmee ruimschoots de Belgische automarkt, die met 9,17% daalde. Daarmee behoort Polestar nu tot de top 10 van de Belgische premiummarkt en noteert het de tweede sterkste volumegroei van alle premiummerken. Tegelijk bereikte Polestar deze zomer een belangrijke mijlpaal, met 10.000 geregistreerde wagens op Belgische wegen sinds de start van het merk.

Om deze groei verder te ondersteunen, breidt Polestar België ook zijn retailnetwerk uit. Naast bestaande locaties in Luik, Gent, Brussel-Centrum en Antwerpen in Wijnegem, opende Polestar dit jaar Polestar Brussel-Zuid en Polestar Kortrijk. Voor het einde van het jaar volgen Polestar Brussel-Oost in Zaventem en Polestar Hasselt.
“Deze uitbreiding van Polestar Spaces weerspiegelt ons vertrouwen in de Belgische markt en onze ambitie om klanten dichter bij het merk te brengen om zo de transitie naar duurzame mobiliteit te versnellen,” aldus Lies Eeckman.
Polestar verwacht op 12 november 2025 een selectie van de resultaten over het derde kwartaal van 2025 te publiceren en een analistenconferentie te houden.
