Polestar delivers first customer Polestar 4 SUV coupés in Luxembourg

LUXEMBOURG – 11 September 2024. Polestar has delivered the first Polestar 4, the SUV coupé, to customers in Luxembourg, marking the company’s transition from a one-model brand to a three-model lineup. With Polestar 2 and now Polestar 4 on Luxembourg roads, and Polestar 3 soon to be delivered, the Swedish electric car brand continues to grow its offering.

"With the introduction of Polestar 4 on Luxembourg roads, we are entering the premium performance class of the D-SUV segment, capitalizing more than ever on the fastest-growing and most profitable premium EV segment in Luxembourg. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us," said Lies Eeckman, Head of Polestar Belux.

Having already been delivered to customers in China, Polestar 4 first deliveries in European markets including Luxembourg accelerates Polestar cars’ global presence, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. The first deliveries in Luxembourg were met with great enthusiasm. The first delivered Polestar 4 models were in Magnesium.

The Polestar 4 combines the aerodynamics of a coupé and the spaciousness of an SUV while demonstrating minimalist Scandinavian design. Both dual- and single-motor variants are available, with the single-motor featuring rear-wheel drive. A 100 kWh battery is fitted to both versions.

Polestar 4 is the fastest production car the brand has developed to date. The 0-100 km/h sprint can be completed in just 3.8 seconds and maximum power output is 400 kW (544 hp) in the Long range Dual motor version. The Long range Single motor version features a 200 kW (272 hp) motor at the rear, with a range up to 620 km (WLTP).
